need to write SNMPWALK-like feature for printing system

I need to write an SNMPWALK-like program to be used in communicating with HP printers in my comuter workshop.

i downloaded SNMP source code and an MIB reference guide from HP web site. i need to get data from the printer such as number of papers printed for each job, toner, etc. how can i do all that?

It will probably be easier to limit the request to the exact OID you need, i.e. use snmpget instead of snmpwalk...
The OID you need should be in the MIB you mention...
