Need to use blob datatype in reportnet

Hello,
I have images stored in the oracle database in blob columns. These images need to be displayed in the reports. Please let me know if this is possible in reportnet. If yes, how?

The images are in jpeg format. Also, the rpnt docs has 2 sentences on blob which really doesn't make much sense to me.
