Need to Update LTO Drive Firmware

I have an update to the firmware of my HP LTO tape drive. I have downloaded the zip file for Netware 6.5 but no sure what to do next. How do you update the firmware?

Compaq ML350
HP Storageworks LTO

Is it a simple as replacing the current files in the System directory? No...

Generally you do this from a boot floppy image that you download from HP.

That's how I've always thought a firmware update should be done. some kind of executable (pardon the MS reference) that does the update to the particular hardware. In this case the download was a zip file containing an NLM and a bunch of other files all matching what is in the SYSTEM/HP_LTT folder. No bootable floppy reference or instructions.

Ok. I apologize for having to answer my own question. Should do a little more research, but maybe this will help some other folks.

tape tools are the same on m$ and netware
tape tools does both - it's a flakey bit of crap at times
fine for updating the firmware - useless at diags
