I have an access database which uses linked data from a legacy Clipper accounting application. We are updating the Clipper files from Access, but my indexes are not being updated.
I found some info at Microsoft that said that when you are linking to a Clipper database that "the index may or may not be updatable".
The Clipper application is multi-user, as is the Access database. We need the index updated as the data is entered. If we have to run a "re-index" option, everyone will need to be out of that file, and that is an unacceptable option.
Any help would be appreciated.
