Need to TRANS/CONF current call before answering new ring-in 1

A high-profile (high maintenance) end user has requested to have the ability to make disposition of her present call, i.e., Trans/Conf before answering another ringing call.

In other words she does not want to inconvenience her 1st caller by having to make them wait on hold for her to answer the 2nd ringing call before "handling" or making disposition of the first caller.

The state of her phone during this event is "ring-in" and the softkey template does not support adding a Trans/Conf softkey when the phone is in the 'ring-in' state.

I have added a Transfer softkey to a vacant line position, but it still does not provide the requested function when a subsequent (concurrent) call is presented.

Is it Possible to do this?

Yes it is. Use the scroll key to highlight the call she is on instead of the new incoming call, then the transfer key will reappear.
 
or for easier usage for the enduser disable the "auto call select" option on her phone in the admin page.
 
Where do you find this info? This is a prime example of exactly the type of thing sys admins need to know and it's not presented in any of the sysadmin classes.

Admin and sysadmin guides on line as well as experience. Been installing cisco ipt for 10yrs now. First install was version 3.1.
