RM6 and Veritas 101..... or 301?? :)

We have a v2.6 e250 with Veritas VM running on it to manage the A1000 with (12) 9gb drives. (6) drives are configured to RAID and are RAID 1 with the other (6) drives. (5) drives on each plus (1) hot spare. Still with me? Well we are out of space and since we are so redundant I think I need to split the RAID 1 and keep the original (6) drives configured with the data in tact. Then configure additional mount points for the remaining (6) disk array. How do I do this? I am considering an incident with SUN as Veritas only allows VM support if you are on contract. Thanks all!!
