need to setup mail on aix 4.3 testbox to send to internet

This test box is pretty generic and has not been setup to do email on our
intranet so I need to point it at our email gateway/firewall so it can forward
email messages to an internet site that sends out a page.
I have looked at several unix and aix books, but its not working.
