Need to set parameter value in Query

Hi!

I can set a parameter value with dates and numbers, but is there a way to do it with words.

For my parameter for my date is
Between [Start date] AND [End date].
I can get all the information by the dates.

I want to be able to get all of the informatioon by the client.

Does anyone know how to parameter by words? Is this even possible?
