Need to select a whole row in datasheet view

I have a subform that I show in datasheet view. The user can select but not change the data in a row. If a user clicks the record selector on the left the entire row is highlighted. I'd like to make this so that no matter where in the record they click the entire record is selected and highlighted.

I'm assuming that a little VBA in the righ place(s) will do the trick, but a majical property setting would be nice to.

DoCmd.RunCommand acCmdSelectRecord

This should be run in the Current event of the form and Click for every bound control in the form.

But why don't you merely lock the controls?
