I am linked to an Outlook mailbox. I have a form with a textbox that gets its value from the linked mailbox "body" field. Textbox can only hold 255 characters...what can I do to display the contents of the memo field.

Not sure how you have this set up. Is it a linked table or are the contents imported into a table. If you link the table the field is called "Contents" and it is a memo field. If you import into a table, ensure that the contents field is memo.

Its the linked field that is a Memo field. But I dont see more than 255 in the text box. What am I doing wrong?

If you look at the linked table in design view is the "Content" field memo. I do not know how it could not be because this cannot be altered. But if it is not a memo field I have an idea.

Good point Duane.

My guess is that the linked table is correctly bringing in the memo field, but you are using the linked table in a query as Duane points out. If that is the case, there are several possibilities for truncation.

Also as Duane points out the truncation has nothing to do with the form's text box but only the source data.
