I need to save my records for 12 months. But also need to update records with out updating these records. So I guess what I need to know is can I set up my save button to save updated records with out updating the records I have already saved in my 12 month file
I have a table set up for my 12 month records but every time I save a new update it updates the old record also

PLEASE HELP ME

From what I gather with what you wrote you have records already saved and they are for a yearly report for tracking sales progress or whatever. So you need these records intact but at the same time you need to up date these same records. Am I right So far? If so You need to create a table for archive purposes and then you can put your save records there then continue with the present year updates on your original table. I have a bit of code and with a little modification it you allow you to create an archive table automatically based on a table you select in your database. If this sounds like what you need let me know by email
