Here's my dilemma. I created a report that displayed data from fields and by formulas from a database A. Unfortunately the same data is now available in an updated Database B with similar field names but with some prefixes (ie, tbl_, fld_ etc. - the data is the same, but the structure and fields are named differently). Is there any quick way of editing these names, or do I have to redesign the entire report? I certainly dont want to do that!
Thanks!

You need to verify your database in order for Crystal to recognize the changes made. Click on database, verify database. If any of the field names have changed, you will be prompted to go through an old field to new field mapping process, but this is quick and easy.

If you are dealing with a rapidly changing database - not the underlying dataa but the properties of the dat itslef such as field name, length, data type, adding new fields, etc - you want to do this often.
