Hello all, and thanks for your time in advance...
I've got a production environment that WAS working perfectly fine until someone decided to join one of our TEST DCs to the production environment. The DC from the Test environment has since been taken down and is not online at the moment...
My users experienced an extremely long wait when logging in this morning, and it seems as if come users weren't even being authenticated and were losing access to shares...
What I'd like to do is remove any trace of the DC that was promoted to the production environment, but everything I read when I go to delete it gives me a ton of warning messages -- I just want to easily remove this DC that shouldnt be there in the first place from this environment without screwing up the production environment or having to remove AD on that server.
Any and all help is appreciated...Thanks in advance...it may prevent me from punching my other tech in the face
