need to refresh Client IP address ???

Hi

I have 2 x CB9000 and 30+ 3300 SSII switches. Clients PCs is running on win95.

After the network is install, my clients having problem getting IP(DHCP) from the NT Server. Either i have to wait 5 mins before i can login or i had to press ESC key to get into the client without loging on and do a winipcfg refresh to get IP before relogon to the NT server.

The Edge Switches STP is on and the switches is cascaded.

What could be the problem?

To give a wild guess, I would say you have a spanning tree issue. Either the switches are cabled to have redundent links or the port configs are incorrect. I have also see where you much lock down the speed/duplex on the uplinks between switches.
