Need to recover password for Windows 2003 Server

A friend of mine had an employee get fired, and before he left he changed the password on 2003 Server. I don't know too many details... Sorry. I will try to find out more.

Do you have any advice or ways to recover, change, the password without losing data. Thanks for the help. Sorry for the lack of details, Hopefully I can get more.

There are certain boot disks available online. Search google for it... I dont think anyone here will give you a way to break into a computer

Yeah as long as you have physical access to the system just use one of the free Linux-based recovery boot disks out there, you can change the password at a prompt then reboot into Windows and use the new credentials.
