Need to Recover Encrypted Files

The HD (C) on my PC running XP PRO SP1 died the other day and I bought a new HD. I have another HD (D) that had encrypted files on it. I put the OS on the new one and I can't get to my encrypted files. I tried the creating a Recovery agent but it asks me for a domain. My PC is standalone.

I hate to be the bearor of bad news, but unless you previously exported the required keys, you are out of luck. For more info, use XP's built-in Help & Support to look up EFS recovery.
