Need to promote a member server back to a BDC...

I just had a server crash that was the backup active directory controller and I had to rebuild it. I had to start from scratch but the server has the same computer name and domain account..etc

My question is how to I reconfigure this to replicate my AD controller.

This is a DC and not the FSMO, so you would need to do a metadata cleanup from the FSMO or another DC(delete the crashed server from AD), delete DNS records from it,Wins etc if need be. Then you can recreate the server with the same name, IP ect, add it back to the domain with dcpromo.
