within outlook; click on the down arrow next to New- select Outlook data file- select the version of the .pst you want(depends on your version of Outlook)-browse to its location on the network. remember you can not attach to it while another mailbox has it attached.
I am not sure what sniper is saying there. We have hundreds of users using .pst files stored on my servers. I am running 5 .pst's attached to my mailbox alone. I have grabbed others' .pst's over the years, but it is not common practice to "share" a .pst
