Does anyone know of a tool to monitor the number of sessions the users are running. We are moving to CE 9 and changing from named to concurrent licenses. Our user base is growing. We currently have CE 8.5 and CR 8.5. I can get a general idea by going to the APS server properties in the CMC but my boss is looking for graphs or at least ongoing information. Our APS connects to an Oracle instance using a native Oracle drive rather than an ODBC connection.
Thanks

On the main Crystal Enterprise Launchpad there's a Administrative Sample called View Server Metrics which has threads and connections info.

You can also use the Administrative Sample Console which has current metrics and total metrics.

You can also download the CSP example file from CD which has a CE85_Server_Metrics.zip file which provides an overeview of pending/running/current/failed jobs.

You might also consider taking a look at the AddIn "KPI for Crystal Enterprise" from APOS ( We haven't yet installed and tested a demo version and therefore I also can't tell you anything about pricing, but the feature description might meet your needs. You can find it in pdf-format in the download-section of the APOS webpage.
