need to make an update to 2nd server when data is added to 1 server

I have a servers primary and secondary. when someone adds data to one server it automaticly update the second, so that way if dns rouths to the second the same data is there but yet updating the first server if the data is is entered on server 2

can't we all just get along

I would say to run [tt]rsync[/tt] from [tt]cron[/tt].

( As you did not specified the operating system, I thing any solution is acceptable for you. )

Try robocopy or xcopy. All these replies also assume that by "data" you mean new or changed files, not database entries.
