I need to be able to dial out to a machine using some dialer software (doesn't matter what it is), I've been using QuickLink since it has a work offline function. After creating the connection, I stop QuickLink and Windows 2k stops the connection. I need to have this connection remain open until I can start another application to access data on the remote machine via the connnection that I previously established. This process worked under Windows 98se but it will not work under W2k or WXP.
