Need to learn VSS

I have been asigned the task of learning Visual Source Safe and becoming the "librarian" of the company, specifically the developers. I know next to nothing about this program and am a new Network Admin. I have the capacity but need the resources. Does anyone know where I shoudl start???

Any bugs or tricks to watch out for would be helpfull also.
