Hi,

We have a Nortel Networks Meridian 1 switch installed here which we inherited with the building about 4 years ago. We have some basic knowledge about how to operate it (programming phone and the like), but we can't figure out what option this thing is. Is there a way to figure out what we've got here? I can't find anything on the switch casing, power supply, or anything else.

Any information would be greatly appreciated.

In the above scenario the 15 of the VERSION 1511 tells me that the switch is an Option 21.

2111 = Option 11
1111 = Option 51 or 61 (Option 51 will have one core, 61 will have 2 cores)
1811, 2311, 2511, 2911, 3211 = Option 61 or Option 61C (61C will have two Core/Net modules, part number NT5D21, NT9D11, or NT4N41)
1611, 1911, 2611, 3011, 3311 = Option 81 or Option 81C (81C will have a Core/Net module, part number NT5D21 or NT4N41)

Those are some of the common numbers. You can always post your findings back up here.
