I have a link tha creates an E-mail

but I would like to add the Quote number in the E-mail for reference

here is my code

<a href=&quot;mailto:eek:uruser@oursite.com&Subject=Here%20is%20an%20Attachment%20to%20go%20with%20Quote >[red] & <%=webquote%> & [/color] <&body=Please%20attach%20your%20file%20for%20us%20to%20view&quot;>Send
us an Attachment</a> (photo or sketch)
---------------------

so in the Email it would appear as
the subject would be
Here is an Attachment for Quote 100992
and the body would be
Please attach your file and send it to us.

Of course the &quot;webquote&quot; variable is on the page already

TIA

Try this :

<HTML>
<HEAD><TITLE>GG</TITLE></HEAD>
<BODY>
<% webquote = 300 %>
<a href=&quot;mailto:eek:uruser@oursite.com?Subject=Here%20is%20an%20Attachment%20to%20go%20with%20Quote <%=webquote%> &body=Please%20attach%20your%20file%20for%20us%20to%20view&quot;>Send
us an Attachment</a>
<BODY>
<HTML>

Obviously remember to record it with an asp extention ;-)

Good luck

François

Hi,

this code runs perfectly on my machine:

Code:
<% webquote = 300 %>
<a href=&quot;mailto:ouruser@oursite.com?Subject=Here%20is%20an%20Attachment%20to%20go%20with%20Quote%20<%=webquote%>&body=Please%20attach%20your%20file%20for%20us%20to%20view&quot;>Send
us an Attachment</a>

Make sure you have not forgotten an % or somthing like that...

Bye.

OK
I was testing it in the Front Page preview mode
And it did not work correctly there
But when I save the page and go out to th eWEB site it works Perfect

Thanks
here's a star
