Need to Import Fox Pro data
I can import some of the files but other files say "Not in expected format"
Cannot export from the program either.
Any help would be great.

Do you need to import the data or link to it?

Import it.
but either is OK.
I can manipulate it later.

If you link to it you will need to set up an ODBD data source on your computer, goto the control panel.

If you are having problems importing, maybe you can make a copy of the foxpro table to an earlier, more compatable version of foxpro. Maybe this will help with the import to Access.

In foxpro:
COPY TO C:\export\file.dbf type fox2x

I am thinking that Access my like the Foxpro 2.x file better. This works for me when I need to suck something into Excel 2000 from Foxpro 6.

Although I am unsure of some details here, like what verison of foxpro you are using, if we are taking about a database or a table...
