Hello friends,
I have converted a number to date in a new formula
field and now i want to append all those coverted date formula values into my paramter so that user can know waht date are present on the report and he can choose the date. Can anyone give any idea on this. Thanks a lot.

You can create a command object (Database Expert - Add Command), enter the SQL in the edit window that duplicates the formula you already created. That will create a list of values of the dates in your database, this will create a second datasource for your report.

Create a parameter that uses that list of values as its datasource. Then when the report opens the user will be prompted to pick a value from that list, and the data returned on your report will be filtered based on the date value selected.

Thanks for the reply Lynchg, I am bit confused, you mean shall I remove my present tables, I have two of them and and use the coomand prompt?. Can I use the date coversion formulae in the command promt?. Or else you mean add new command to present tables?. Thank you once again.
