The overhead connection stopped working. I can use the paging system independent of the Mitel, but when I dial the access code from a telephone all I get is dead air...the board looks okay (?) in software...I have no maintenance contract on a system I inherited (I'm an Avaya girl)...please help!

Need to fix overhead paging connection in Mitel SX2000

After reseating the card with no positive results, I remembered that there is a Lorain transformer box that connects the ports (plids) on the PBX to the sound system itself....one of the loops of the crosswire somehow was broken off. All I did was strip some cover and rescrew a new loop down to close the relay circuit. Turned out to not be the Mitel at all!
