Hello friends:
OK ... I re-programmed the voice mail auto attendant, and all is working well, except for one thing, and I need to figure out how to do this. Here's what I have done:
GRTG: Thank you for calling XYZ. If you know your party's extension, office hours. Please hold for further information, and thank you for calling.
Then it moves into CCR Tree #1, Path #0.
For our upcoming schedule, press 1.
To speak with our staff, press 2.
When the user presses 2, I want the voice mail system to be able to recognize extensions when they type them in. For example, I have recorded:
For Mary, please enter ext. 229 now.
For Bob, please enter ext. 230 now.
If I record it as an INFO greeting, I can't figure out what to do in order to make the voice mail system recognize digits pressed. If I record a MENU prompt, the system says that my tree is incomplete.
Can someone tell me how to make the system recognize extensions when they are pressed during a recording?
Thanks everyone!
