Hi,
This is a little hard to explain so here goes. I have recently moved our moodle site to a new server. I have made the necessary changes in config.php and the site is 95% operational again. The problem I have is that there are around 400 picture links from various topics and course work that still go to the old server. This is because the links were typed in maually when the picture was inserted. Now, I can quite easily turn on editing, break the link and create it again but this would prove to be a very laborious task. Is there a way of using find and replace? I am very new to php and cannot work out where the files are that contain the links. If I call up a page where the link is broken and then choose view > source I can see the code. I then choose find and type in the old url and I find one reference.I can change it and save it but it does nothing. next time i look the old link is back again.
Surely these links must be stored in some file on my server?
Thanks in advance
Dzon
