need to export SIDs from old DC to new DC

Hi All,
I am about to upgrade our server and need to export the AD structure and import back onto the new server. The main thing i need to know, is if it is possible to keep each accounts SID? any help would be greatly appreciated

Do a in-place upgrade. Install the new server promote to DC, let AD replicate, transfer all the roles over to the new server and then demote and remove the old one.
The only SID that will change is the servers.

If you are installing a new server in a pure NT environment, first put NT server on it in a BDC role. Promote it to PDC and then upgrade it to 2000. You will retain the SIDs.
