need to enable options from an alt path (path 8)... 1

Here's the problem I'm facing now:
We have a main greeting recorded, and it gives you the option to hear it in spanish (you press 8). Within that path (8), the msg says you are able to press 0 or 1 to get to our voice mail options. Recently, we altered the spanish greeting on path 8, but now, when you call up the number, and press 8 to hear the spanish msg, the spanish grtg plays but you cannot press 0 or 1 from there to get to our voice mail options.

I want to make the main greeting a shorter msg that says the standard "to hear this in english, press..., to hear this in spanish, press...", but I'm afraid that the other paths will not give the caller freedom to press 0 or 1 to get to our voice mail options. Can I enable this within the path?

If your voice mail has a second langage set up, you can select the alt greeting when recording a message.

In the time of day greeting you would say somthing like: Thank you for calling ABC company, for service in (laungage ) press 9

The in path 0 record both Primary(english)and secondary or Alternate (spanish)

An so on

Are you sure you made path 8 a menu path? You would record your Spanish greeting and make path 81 go to whatever you said happens in your greeting when they press 1. I`m unsure of why 0 wouldn`t work, as I thought it works from anywhere. Possibly you`ve made it an info path. An info path will not accept ext`s so maybe it doesn`t accept 0 as well. Hope this helps and if you need more info, please explain what the other voice mail options that you`re trying to accomplish.
