Need to Edit AD fields...like sidhistory

I need to be able to add/edit fields on user objects like sidhistory and msexchmasteraccountsid.

I know I can do it thru adsiedit, BUT these values are in hexadecimal in adsiedit and I need to be able to edit or add values from a standard sid.

I know it can be done with scripting, but I am not that experienced to script it all from scratch.

Any help is appreciated.
