Need To Double Click On Datasheet to change data On Main Form.

I have a main form named QLSalesFollowup. This Form has a subform in datasheet view. The Subform's name is QLSalesFollowupSF. If I open a quote on the main form the subform displays all the quotes we have sent to that customer. The two forms are linked with the customerID field. I would like to double click the quote number or the record on the subform and have the main form display this data and requery the subform. The Main form could even close and reopen if necessary. Please Help. I have many situations where this technology would come in handy. I have a lookup customer button on a form that could use this technology to populate the form once the customer was chosenb from the list. I have also tried doing this with a listbox but that did not work either. Thanks in advance for your help.

I have a form that ahows the sales person information like customerID, CustomerName, AddressInfo, QuoteNumber, FollowUp Dat, Ect.. On that Form I have Embeded another form in Datasheet view. That embedded Form in datasheet view displays limited information about other quotes for that same customer. I need the sales person to have the ability to double click on the datasheet record that they would like to view all the other information regarding that quote. When they double click on the record in the datasheet The main form should open to that record. I understand that the subform in datasheet mode can display all the information in the table it is based on but We only want a small amount of data included on that datasheet. Quote number Quote Date and Product Description. I have everything working except the double click option. I have created a button that the sales person can click and it will ask for the new quote number to view. Once they enter the quote number it will close the form and reopen it with the quote they are looking at. This works OK but the double click option is more natural than the extra 5 steps to use that button. Thanks for the quick responce.
