need to defrag exchange 5.0

I can not seem to find the eseutil.exe file in the exchsrvr\bin
The priv.edb and the pub.edb have increased in size over night. There where 8 gigs of log files in the mdbdata folder. The edb would no loger funtion so the customer deleted the log files. Now he getting errors when he send and recive also the priv.edb keeps getting larger they now have circular logging enabled.
Should he defrag the edb?
This is exchange server 5.0

Did you really mean Exchange 5.0 and not 5.5? If you are really running 5.0, hats off to you for keeping it running for this long! Anyway you are taking me way back, but I think the tool was called EDBUTIL back in the 5.0 days.

Yes! The customer is running exchange 5.0 and thanks it's edbutil and he is now running it. We will see what happens
