I have recieved a corel draw file from a client of mine but i have no corel draw (i'm on a mac). Is there anyway i can convert it to a pdf without having the software?

I hav freehand, illustrator (have tried opening but it didn't work either), in design.... and many more adobe and macromedia software, but none of them can help me here?

Is there anyone who can help?

Unless your client has a very old version of CorelDraw they could very easily convert it to PDF and resend it.

PDF conversion is built in to the program, though they may not be aware -- or may not be aware that PDF is the best interchange format.

If they have it, the option will be on the File Menu, near the bottom, "Publish to PDF".

Optimum results should be obtained by selecting the PDF preset for "prepress" though they can fine tune individual parameters if you need images resampled to a particular DPI.

Great! thanks so much, my client is not very computer literate but i'll make it very simple for her

Thanks again

If the file is made in corel 1 - 5 it is posible to inport to Illustrator if its in corel 6 or Above the only solution is for the Client to Publish to PDF

I am a Corel Fan!atic. (NAH)
