Hello All,

Basically, i have broadband connection at home. and it is providing connection with USB cable from modem. we dont have router. However i want to use my internet on two diff. PCs. Now, I have Ethernet cable but having problem to assign one PCs as Proxy so i can use internet on both PCs.

I appreciate any help on this topic.

Open Help and Support from the Start menu, then search for 'Internet Connection Sharing'. The results will list the steps to get ICS set up properly.

Better still, get two wireless cards. No cables getting in the way. Once set up, run the home network wizard.
1. The machine with the usb modem will be the 'connect directly to the internet, other machines will connect to the interet through this one'. Set this one up first.

2. The other machine will be connect to the internet through another machine on the network. There is no need for proxys.

Many thanks to smah & ASG0856. It's working now.
