Need to change "Read Only" file back to original. 1

I am using Acess 97. I have no idea how the files got changed to Read Only. I need to be able to add to the files. Any help would be appreciated. Garland

open Windows Explorer to the Folder the MDB is in. Highlight the MDB name, Right-Click, select Properties, and then Uncheck the Read Only Checkbox. If this isn't the problem, then its possible someone has tied an MDB to the System.MDW file, and you don't have the necessary permissions to do anything.
