Need to change order of eth interfaces

I have a linux firewall running SuSE 10 that I recently replaced a NIC on. There are 3 NICs in the box ranging from eth0-eth2 but after I configured the replaced NIC it assigned it to be eth3 instead of eth1. How do I change it to be eth1?

Figured it out. Edit the /etc/udev/rules.d/30-net_persistent_names.rules file.
