I need to make the movie background a specific colour, which is a web safe colour but in the movie properties box it is not there although you can get the colour up in the drawing pallet. Why is this and how do I change my background. Any thoughts?? [sig][/sig]

Although this may not be the best way, you could make a layer called Background and make a box the size of your stage that is filled in with the color that you want. Then, just lock the background layer so you don't have to worry about doing anything to it.

That should work.

Hope this helps.

Hi!

You can define the background colour in the HTML if you know the hexidecimal value of the colour. Open the .htm/.html file in Notepad and you'll see that it is already defined. Change it to the one your after and all should be fine. But I personally like doing what vikter mentioned because you can change the colour of the background suddenlty, halfway through your animation for extra 'kick'.
