We have an operator that does not stay at the attendant and wants to move about and foward the attendant or to put the attendant on a call foward mode or pick-up group. When she goes to lunch another person (att-overflow) has to pick up the attendant, ironically this person doesn't want to sit by the attendant either, and does not want to wait for the over flow to kick in so she could answer the attendant. Is there a way to foward the attendant at will and back or to put the attendant in a call pickup group?
any simple idea would be gratly appreciated.I have looked at the att tn and there is no (rnpg) or KEY # CFW 4 OPTION.

I guess you can set the NITE feature between certain hours to nr: xxxx and outside these hours to nr: yyyy. This is done in the Customer Data Block under NIT_DATA

NIT_DATA
NIT1 yyyy
TIM1 00 00
NIT2 xxxx
TIM2 12 00
NIT3 yyyy
TIM3 13 00
NIT4
TIM4
RPNS NO
ENS NO

This would cause the system to route all calls when in NITE state between 00:00 and 12:00 as well as 13:00 to 00:00 to extention xxxx and between 12:00 and 13:00 to yyyy.

CDB: Print = LD 21, CHG = LD 15

hi kingtero,

supernn is right .you can use this NIT_Data feature.
I would just like to add a small thing . U can put no time range, leave all entries at default value and just put the other extn(where u want calls to go) in NIT1 field.

so whenever receptionist wants to leave her place she need to change the ATT console to nite mode(pressing nite mode button), hence all calls to console will go to the desired extn as programmed by u at any time of day.

i hope this satisfies ur need.

because the att does not move on a set schedule i have used a nite bell at the attendant that she picks up with directed call pickup for each call.. (adl button) then she can use remote call forward to forward that to a mcr key when she decides to go mobil
