Greetings.

I am setting up a Kieosk (sp?)for browsing our buisinesses web site at a store location.
I need to be able to lock out the chance or ability to browse to any other location but the main site active.

In other words, I will be setting the home page to our buisiness webpage. I only want the user to be able to browse our site and no others. Is that possible to setup?

I dont neccissarily need to use IE, could be what ever.

I am alittle buzzed and asleep at the moment, hope I am making sence.

If you can help, please respond.
Thanks in advance.

EarAche.

One option would be to set the home page and hide and lock the location bar, and perhaps the other toolbars and the menu if you can.

That would restrict the user from entering in another website address and going to it.

Another way to do it is to use a firewall to restrict communication to everything except your website. This is the most secure way, but you *might* lock out some other needed service.

Another option might be to store the website on a CD, or the hard drive of the kiosk. Point the web browser to the website and turn off the internet altogether.

This is only useable if you have a static HTML website. Scripting and such won't work this way.
