need to backup aol's files/shortcuts/address book

K, hope it's OK for multiple forum posts...

I will owe big time to someone answering these questions, since i don't have the time to research..

I need to wipe the OS and reinstall, therefore,

need to backup these off AOL 8 installation on my disk:

existing messages
shortcuts
address book

then would have to restore them onto the new system..

thank you in advance
 
You can use a program called 'CleanSweep' found in the new "Norton's Systemworks Professional 2003'.

Simply back up the program, which it will search for all entries on the hdd and registry, compact them and store them in its default directory.

copy the file to the new system (install program on new system) and simply restore. Klon Shugart
