We have a laptop with Windows 2000 Pro installed. I want to make it boot up straight into the OS without prompting for the press CTRL, ALT & DEL screen.

Can someone please advise me on how to do it?

Regards,

Open the mmc. Add the Local Policy console. Expand Local Computer Policy>Computer Configuration>Windows Settings>Security Settings>Local Policies>Security Options. Select "Disable Ctrl+Alt+Del requirement for logon" policy from the right side of the screen. Double-click on the policy. Select the Disable option. Remember, if domain-level policies are defined, they override local policy settings.
