Hello,
We currently use M7324 phones. That allows us to answer 24 incoming CO lines. We are fast approaching 24 CO lines and are sure to surpass. The way we operate requires that each incoming CO line have their own individual button on the phone and be present on every operators phone.
We need some ideas on how to expand the number of lines an operator can answer.

One idea is to use a CAP. I have a few questions about them though:

1. Can incoming lines be assigned to the buttons on the CAP or can they only be assigned inhoouse extensions?

2. The CAP unit was shipped with a power supply but there is no apparent place to hook one up on the CAP. How is it used?

3. How many CAP's total can be used on a 0x32 system?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thanks

1 - If you designate the extension with the CAP as a central answering position you can assign lines to the CAP buttons.

2 - Power is hard wired to the second pair (white/orange) going into the CAP. See our Reference Guides for CAP (KLM) installation instructions.

3 - There can be a total of 5 CAP positions assigned with a max of 2 CAPs per position. Brian Cox

There are many ways to handle calls without the need for the line appearnce on a set.
What software do you have? how many sets? how many groups? are these 24 or more lines all one big equiv group?
