I have a SQL 2000 server I would like to log ship to SQL 2008.

When building the Database Maintenance Plan (wizard) I can only choose from a drop down that only lists three servers. How do I add servers to this dropdown?

Did a search for Log Shipping and Log Shipping Destination and I did not find what I was looking for.

Thanks

I have found that to log ship between 2000 and 2008 you need to do it manually.

However, I have not gotten it to work yet.

This will only be temporary as we are upgrading to 2008 with the fail-over server being upgraded before the live server.

Thanks

Thank you, however we are creating new servers with upgraded memory and operating systems. (Actually we are going to virtuals).

Thanks,
