Need to Access Copy of Local Replica on Different PC

I have a local replica of a notes database that I copied over to a new PC with a new installation of Lotus notes R5.5 on it. I am unable to open the local replica because it does not recognize me as having authorization to the replica. My user ID and password have change along with the new PC. Is there any way that I can access the replica without having to re-replicate it? It is over 300 meg and will take forever to replicate over 56k dial up.

The ACL settings don't apply when you access a database directly on the server or your local machine. Try to open the database from the Windows explorer. If this doesn't work then try to make a new copy of the database in the Windows Explorer and try to open that.
