need to access a web page

Hi,

I've built a small microsoft pws website at a friends work for him. I'm trying to access the web pages remotely from my work but keep getting prompted with the user name and password dialog box.
I know the user name and password but obviously don't want customers to have to type anything in in order to see his web pages - what do i need to do. any ideas?

What are the permissions set for on the directories that hold the pages on the server? BeckahC

Or more specifically:

Are the permissions on the directory where the script is set to allow anonymous access with at least read rights for the IUSR account?

IUSR being your everyday average Internet Joe.
