Try this, I think it is what you need
Good luck

Make sure that a call is not put on hold.
1 Press (PROGRAM).
2 Press (MUTE).
3 Press (2).
³The current setting is displayed.
4 Press a dialling button ((1) to (0)).
(1) : 80 ms (2) : 90 ms (3) : 100 ms (4) : 110 ms
(5) : 200 ms (6) : 250 ms (7) : 300 ms (8) : 400 ms
(9) : 600 ms (0) : 700 ms
5 Press (PROGRAM).
³A long beep sounds.
³The unit will return to the standby mode.

Sorry, didn't see the bit about no mute button
I don't have anything on that type of phone

yep no mute button or display

riv have you tried the changing the flash timer on the system?our version of that phone 2355 has no flash adjustments

yep tried every flash timer i could find and every hold mode also but i know the phone itself has a flash timer that can be set i am more surprised that the phones worked great on the kxta and wont work on the new version theirs 15 slt phones on the system and the only one that works is the portable it has a recall key the KX-T 2371 slt does not onlt has a flash key which kills the call when pressed.

a quick bounce of the hook switch holds the call ok?

hey peter is there a external feature access setting on the 824?

I think I found your problem field 110 must be set to
mode 1 (efa) default on the 824 is mode 2 hope this helps

i will try that in the morning thanks and i will let you know

no worries drop me a email my office computer
crashed and lost all contacts!
