I just bought a Micros 3700 and when I turn it on, nothing on the screen. I'm new to POS systems and I would assume at least a welcome screen. I've very familiar with database systems, but I can't get to anything within this unit. So my question is: How do I start?

I am not sure what you mean by "nothing" on the screen. Do you mean all you see is a normal Windows desktop. Or is this on one of the workstaions that you see nothing? If you are on the server, start by going to Start --> Programs --> MICROS Applications
