Hello all,
Need Steps to move a GW mailbox from one PO to another one, is it better to archive all emails first?
this is going to be done across the wan, GW version is 5.5EP5.

Moving a user can be painful, especially across a slow Wan and especially on older versions. Just a heads up. I know this doesn't answer your question.

How long will it take to move the user with no email in the mailbox? all emails has been archived.

Depends on the size of their archive folder. It's a simple file copy from one location to the other.

I just did it and it worked just fine, just one thing, the password was reset so I had to create a new password, also the frequent contacts was empty, how could I be able to copy the frequent contatcs? is it possible to transfer to the other PO?

Open up their current account (hopefully you haven't removed it yet) and open the address book. select the Freq Cont. book, File->Export. Then import in back in the new account.

where do I get the import file from? the old server?

From wherever you saved it when you exported it.

It prompts you for a 'save to' path, at least on GW 6.5. Not sure about 5.5, but it will have an .NAB extension you could search for.
